5-Stand is an abbreviated form of Sporting Clays. Presentation consists of 5 targets per station and there
are 5 stations (5-Stand) for at total of 25 birds. $5.00 per round members.
$7.00 per round non-members.
The game offers several different skill levels
and the
Level I:
Level II:
Level III:
When all shooters complete their respective
station, upon the trapper’s instruction,
each shooter will make their gun safe (empty) and move to the next station for another 5 target presentations.
This will continue until each shooter has had 5 target presentations from each
of the 5 stations. It is recommended that shooters begin the round with 35
shells.
5-Stand Rules
1)
Eye and ear protection are mandatory.
2)
Shotguns are limited to 2 rounds at a time. Shot size is limited to

Any gauge shotgun may be used as long as it is fired from the shoulder.
4)
Chokes may not be changed after the round has
begun.
5)
Shooters, upon
entering the station/cage must place the barrel(s) of their shotgun over the
front rails. At this point they may load a gun with two shells.
6)
While in shooting stand, with the shotgun
barrels over the front rail, any
unfired rounds must be unloaded from the gun prior to leaving the stand.
7)
When not in the
firing stand, the action of your gun must be open and empty. The gun must be pointed in a safe direction.
8)
Shooters must remain within their station /
shooting cage during an active round of shooting. Shooters may not leave their station until
instructed to do so by the trapper / referee.
9)
Shooters requiring assistance are to raise
their hand to signal the trapper or referee of a problem and request
assistance.
10) Misfires are not to be placed in the bucket with empty shells.
